10 Kid-Friendly Meals for Picky Eaters at
Dinnertime
A healthy dinner perfect for picky eaters
is a baked potato bar. Start by setting up a table with all toppings, such as
cheese, tomato sauce, and broccoli. Let everyone scoop the number of
ingredients they would like on their individual baked potato and enjoy!
A pizza bagel is a quick and easy way to
get dinner on the table in an instant. Start by rolling out your favorite pizza
dough and cut off pieces to fit the size of bagels you have on hand. Next, put
some tomato sauce on each circle of dough, add toppings such as pepperoni,
sausage, or peppers and then put a cheese slice over the top for that final
touch. Bake up your bagels until they are nice and crispy!
3. Mac & Cheese with Cauliflower
If you’re not sure if a rational or
irrational belief causes your procrastination, keep working on changing your
behaviors to see if there are any changes in your procrastination. Keep trying
different things until you find something that works.
4. Chick fajitas can be a great dish to try
for picky eaters! Cook the chicken on the stove first on medium-high heat,
adding your spices of choice (try fajita seasoning!). Once cooked through, set
aside on a plate and turn up the heat to medium-high on the stovetop. Add
peppers and onions until they are cooked through, then add all of your lettuce
or other vegetables that you would like to use in place of tortillas (sautéing
them with peppers and onions is another cooking method). After adding all of your
veggies, serve with warm tortillas if desired.
The White Bean Burger is a great dish to
introduce to kids quickly. It's also low in calories and fat and high in
protein. You can even mix other vegetables with the beans, such as chopped
spinach, mushrooms, or onions.
To
make this burger into a meal, you can serve
it on buns with all of your favorite toppings or substitute some of the beans
for ground turkey or beef (be sure to drain any liquid).
